Bluray for copies?
 

Hi

Can I hand over the raw BPAV EX1R files to the client on a blu-ray disc? If so, do I just copy BPAV files via CLIP BROWSER to my Blu-ray burner on my MAC?

Or should I place the raw BPAV files on a hard drive and give that to client charging them for hard drive of course?

I'm assuming you're just wanting to give them the Blu-Ray disc with data on it? If you're wanting it to play then dropping the BPAV would be no good, but you can burn it as data onto the Blu-Ray no problem.

If you include ClipBrowser they'll be able to play the BPAV. If you include VLC they'll be able to play the MP4. It all depends on whether you think they are savvy enough to use ClipBrowser or VLC.

For data I'd consider good quality BD disks even though more expensive than hard drive. They won't crash and they can't accidentally delete files. Good BD disks can even survive minor scratches (supposedly).

Thanks for the info guys - Yes I was just thinking of using Clip Browser, copying the raw BPAV files onto Blurays for clients. So yes, just the data BPAV, not looking for the files to play as a BluRay video/DVD.

I guess I should include VLC and Clip Browser too on any bluray or hard drive..

I am not sure you can include Clip Browser (legally, I mean), but you should have no problem including VLC.
