Barrett M82A1 .50 caliber in 1080p

This is the big Barrett Semi Auto .50 caliber rifle as seen by the EX3. Shot in 1080 with a bit of 720p slo-mo near the end.

There is hope for the world yet! Never shot a .50, but would love to try. $3-5 per pull is a bit steep for me.

Yea for 20 rounds is was like 80 bucks or something. Family was in town so we decided to spend the money. :) Nothing like the Barrett. Nothing else even compares.

720p slo-mo shutter speed

Curious as to the shutter speed used? 60,120, greater?

TIA, Rob

Here is some more shooting. This time I tried the Quicktime setting in Vegas 8. Took much longer to render and for youtube to process the video but it had interesting results.

So the filesize was just about a gig. The thing is, when I do normal mp4s or even the blu ray m2t I have to bump the saturation and gain slightly, because after youtube or vimeo does it's thing it will come out all dark. As a quicktime the colors and sharpness look much closer to what the source file is. Almost over did it.

EDIT: here I put it on vimeo so the comparison can be direct.
