Where to buy an EX1R in UK and deliver to Norway

I'm going to buy a Sony PMW-EX1R and wants to buy this item in UK. The price in Norway are too high for me. Where to buy in a safe way/safe webshop to an affordable price delivered to Norway? What webshop in UK should deliver/sell this item to a good price, with and witouth a 16 GB card?

Jigsaw24, Prestons, CVP spring to mind as some of the larger (and in my opinion reliable) UK suppliers. Pretty sure they will all supply internationally. I'm not up to date with who offers the best deal. B&H is also another excellent international supplier - don't forget to factor in all the extra tax and import costs.

I can recommend Production Gear as they have always given 1st class service.

You could always catch a ferry over here and collect it?

I ordered one from digibroadcast. I really don't like buying such expensive goods over the internet and get them by post, but the price difference was enormous. Here in the Netherlands the thing costs 6800 euro's, but I end up paying 5500. That's a massive difference of 1300 euro's!

However, the UK and my country are in the European Union where Norway isn't... so if you probably end up paying extra import taxes which makes the price difference not worth the trouble.

Unless, as mentioned above, you make a trip and pick it up yourself. You might circumvent the customs, but that's a grey area and at your own risk! Furthermore, if you have a valid VAT number you don't pay VAT either (but you have to pay that in your own country at the end of the year as an extra tax)

Thanks for the replies, but I still don't know what to do, or where to buy. I don't like to pay for such an expensive item on the Internet, but the price in Norway are about 8000 Euros.t's not a good idea to take a boat to GB, I'm living in the northern part of Norway.....

I've bought kit from both the companies mentioned by Steve, they are both the real deal. But so are the other names mentioned I expect.

The best thing you can do now is phone them direct. They'll have the answers you need.
