Sony CAC-12 on PXW-X200?

I know some have put similar on the PMW-200........does the mic holder on the X200 remove similarly with the same holes? I have had a CAC-12 in my closet for years, got it NIB for $10.

Hey Paul, I've removed the shotgun mic holder as I never use it and it allows me to better fit the camcorder into the Sony bag, here's what it looks like with the shotgun mic removed:

Not sure what the dimensions of the CAC-12 so I don't know if that will fit.
You will need a thin shaft philips screwdriver to unscrew the mic holder screws like this:
