SanDisk SxS cards???
 

I was just going through an equipment closet and found two of what appear to be new SanDisk Express 16GB cards.
All my other cards are Sony SxS Pro. Does anyone have any experience with the SanDisk SxS cards. They are shown as discontinued at B&H and SanDisk has NO available info.

Are they trustworthy?

Yes!

Been using them for 8 years on my old EX3 and now on my PMW-300. I think Sandisk actually made SxS cards for Sony but most were branded as Sony, just a few (in the early days) carried the Sandisk branding...but they are otherwise identical.

Others will confirm/clarify I am sure.

I still have three of the 16GB Sandisk sxs cards I originally bought for the EX1 (even before the EX3 came out). They still work fine, even recording XAVC-I 100 -- though obviously only get about 15 minutes of recording time at that data rate. Never had an issue with any of them.
I usually keep a couple of shorter cards in the camera bag in case I want something quick, or want to start transferring a larger card right before the end of the day.

Thanks to Andy & Dave & Jim for the info. Now, I feel comfortable using them!
