Lens calculation question at DVinfo.net

Quick question - I'm not sure how to calculate lens equivalents for cameras like this. Is the lens conversion factor for this sensor 1.6, and if so, would a 16x lens be 16/1.6=10, and 10x50mm = 500mm lens ?

I also love pCam for iPhone/iPad. A little pricey but it keeps all these camera conversion at my fingertips. Well worth it.
