Where can I find references to the eventual 4K work flow for the F3 for FCP?

The F3 is a 1080 HD camera.

Your right, the RGB & S-LOG Output Option gives you 4:4:4 but it's still 1080 HD!

David,

I suspect the OP is trying to conform the footage from the F3 to use in a 4k production. It may simplify their workflow if all the footage is at the same dimensions and color depth.
