Matching EX1r and F3

2 Attachment(s)
I've done experimenting with Doug Jenson's EX1/F3 profiles and Alister Chapman's F3 profiles in search of a match. The using these profiles, the F3 is not as bright given identical modes, shutter, iris and gain. Closest I've come so far at 1080p30 are VortexS3 on the EX1r and Vortex-L R709 on the F3.

Any ideas which way to go?

I added a bit more light on the subject's left side and found some more of Alister Chapman's profiles but the F3 is still missing the red in the cheeks and skin color. The EX1r is exactly what my eye sees.

I know this is all seat of the pants but it's close. I'm out of ideas. TIA

Have you tried balancing the F3 with one of Doug's Warm Cards?

And seriously, tell the model to loosen up. This Mannequin Challenge is getting out of hand.

Continuing my seat of the pants effort to match these two for an upcoming shoot, I dialed in two I am happy with. My previous tests were with a Sony 11-16mm SCL-P11x15T30 lens on loan. However my SCL-P35T20 lens arrived so I reset the test and added something to also test bokeh. My SCL-P50T20 is arriving today and I'll update this again if there's a difference. In this new test, the subject's eyes are 5'6" and picture in background is 10'5" from F3 sensor plane.

In my previous 11-16mm tests, the F3 seemed to be lower exposure at the same gain (0) and f-stop (2.8) as the EX1r. With the T20 lens, I opened up the F3 iris to T2.4 and to make the exposure more even (I used 70% zebras and Histogram).

What matches to my eye for standard gamma picture profiles are:
EX1r - Doug Jensen's VortexS3
F3 - Alister Chapman's ACRCH709 but with the matrix level increased to +24 (up from +14 in the original PP).

Next effort is to find some cine gamma matches for outdoor. Not sure how to do that. Ideas welcome. F3 is the first attachment with the nice bokeh.

I told her to loosen up but all I got was a blank stare. :-)

Pardon the pun but I never warmed up to faking out the white balance. Taking a page from the True Color philosophy, I wanted both camera's to be able to shoot it as close as possible to reality and then diverge into creative. I got the 50mm late today and did a quick shot with the exact same setup. That bokeh on the 50 is nice. F3 has to be at T2.4 for both 35 and 50 lenses to get the same exposure as the EX at f2.8. F3 is first attachment. F3 at 35mm is 3rd attachment.
