Sony FS5 Zoom Problem or Quirk?

I've just purchased a FS5 with the kit lens. All the firmware is now up to date, etc.

I'm finding a problem or 'quirk' when zooming out using the kit lens when Clear Image Zoom is ON.

Basically there is a fractional pause in the zoom which looks like the camera shifting from the clear image zoom range to the normal zoom range. Strangely this doesn't happen when zooming in all the way including the extra reach of the clear image zoom.

Is this normal, or do I have a problem?

Thanks guys for the information.
Hopefully this 'quirk' can be eradicated in a future firmware update?
