Flyer Dynamic Balance

Anyone with a Flyer, how easy or hard do you find it to get it dynamically balanced?

I always found it to be quite easy. 2 batteries, almost straight up and down. Always start with the camera cg about 3/4 inch behind the centerline of the post. Then start tweaking your balance.

..and about a 45* backwards angle on on the battery plate if you are only using one battery should have you in the ballpark

What type of camera are you using?
Is the flyer very instable, bottom heavy or top heavy?
You have to look carefully to the VHS tape and follow it step by step;
The first time you have to find some extra weights to play with.
In my case some heavy batteries together with a DR-HD100 was enough couterweight to balance my JVC HD-251 with Mattebox.
You can also slide the handle up or down. Make sure to do this with two people as things get out of balance easily when you unscrew that handle.

Why VHS? I've been trying to find a VCR for months now - my tapes are still packed in the cello-wrap :-/

They need to start giving out DVDs now.
