Balancing Stand For Glidecam or Flycam?

Does anybody know of an inexpensive adapter that will let you put the handle of a Glidecam 4000 or Flycam 5000 into it and then it attaches to a C light stand or mic stand?

I understand this is an excellent tool to use in balancing the stabilizer and also a good safe resting place for the rig when not being used.

I tried ebay but either there are not any there or I am not using the right verbage when I search.

i recommend the turtle stand from steadycam. The base is very low so you can do without sandbags with a 6 ibs camera. The glidecam's balancing handle can fit.

D.J.,

You can use one of our adapters with either a W I D E base mic stand or a lighting stand. Just remember to weight it properly to protect your investment in case of wind or other unforeseen problems. You know...Murphy's Law.
