Which type of handheld stabilizer

Does anyone have experience with both a Glidecam 2000 type stabilizer and a Steadicam Jr. type stabilizer?

I am trying to decide which one would be best to use with my VX2000 and would like input on what the strengths and weaknesses of both types are.

Thanks,
Darrell

I'm more of a fan of the JR than the 2000, particular in terms of the delicacy of the top stage adjustments on the JR. Many find it a bit more "finicky" to balance, but that is part of the equation in getting the best results. Having the handgrip under the center of gravity (rather than offset as with the 2000) may cause less fatigue also. However, both can produce good results, as long as you are prepared to spend plenty of practice time.
