List all the good stabilizers for the PDX10

Hi, I'd probably get a better response in the general discussion, as all these cameras are small, but...

I just got my PDX10. It's small!!! Definately hard to hold and keep still. I'm thinking that I will need a stabilizer. I'm just NOT SURE which one.

I just ordered a monopod (the kind that is tied to your body), but an interested in finding about about stuff like:

frame side brakets to hold the camera (because it can be small and inconspicuous - don't mean the camera flash one either)

Glidecam stuff - very stable and smooth, but very expensive and looks like overkill.

Shoulder mount - idea sounds interesting.

Can you talk about what you have and where is a cheap place to get it?

I built my own. Made it out of steel pipe and sheet metal. Its heavy, and not as complex and effective as a glidecam, but it works. Materials costed around $20 to make.

I will try to post pics of it later.

I use a GlideCam V8 with my PDX10 and it works great! It might be overkill, but it sure looks cool, and is fun too, if a bit painful to learn and setup in the first place......

After carerfully searching for all steady cam options I have stopped drinking coffee on days of shoots.

Then I just hold my breath for the whole shoot and try not to move.......

cheap....works sometimes.....

Mike, haven't you seen the short film, "Cafine"? Discontinuing your daily coffee dosage can really mess a feller up...

Shawn,

Are you finding the Steadicam JR and the PDX10 a good combination that you'd recommend? I'm considering getting one myself so any feedback you could share would be appreciated.
