Cleaning LCD on Steadicam Flyer

Just wanted to know if there are special percautions when cleaning the LCD screen as there is nothing stated in the manuals (surprise).

l normally just use a damp kitchen sponge and an old soft t-shirt to dry with when l do any other sort of LCD type screen but l just wanted to check to make sure with some people in the know.

Thanks AP.

There's stuff by iKlear that I use for all my camera LCDs. Also, windex works well on some screens, but if you can afford the iKlear ($10 for 20 or so packs of wipes, or around $10 for a bottle of the liquid), it's so much easier and less troublesome.

Some LCD screen have coatings on them, so best not to use anything alcohol based (like window cleaner). Get something that is specifily designed for computer screens and you'll be safe.
