Going Price for a Glidecam V-8?

Going through our school's storage closet last year and found an old Glidecam V-8 that everyone had forgotten we even had. The school's new cameras are too heavy for it so it just sits around. I'm considering making an offer on it but not really sure what's a fair price.

Also would you guys even recommend picking this up if it's for a DSLR? Planning on using it with a 5DMk2 and possibly an XH-A1. We used it with an EX3 with a Ki Pro Mini as the counterweight (long story) and it felt a little a little too heavy for it so I'd guess the DSLR should be just right?

Just to make sure it is actually a V-8 (guessing since there's no identifying marks on it) here's a pic from the one time we shot with it:
