Shot my first SOLO wedding yesterday.

After assisting on about 6 weddings, I did my first solo wedding shoot yesterday, talk about ALOT of work, the heat was killer and taking photos at 1pm in the blazing sun took some fun out of it, but I think I managed to get a few good ones. Thanks god for RAW :)

Take a look at the photos here

She's a cutie, can I get her number for the next time I'm down there?

I like the flower shot, but they are all pretty good.

Actually, I was in Welland for a bit last week, including the day you were shooting.
Yeah, it was hot.... soooooo hot.... Glad to be back in Vancity!

Congratulations, Jeff. I can imagine that it was a damn hot day up there if it was anything like here in Chicago.

I admire wedding photographers...but it certainly is not for me.

Moving quickly through your shots here are some that really stood out for me.

Thanks!

I'm hoping to actually do more of this (photography) than wedding video. The video post production takes MUCH longer than the photography for sure.
And the perception around here is that photography is worth more to most people than video anyways.

I know how you felt.

I never even assisted in any weddings, and then was the sole photographer for a wedding in May. It's hard work, for sure. It sure is nice to get one under the belt. I will feel much more confiedent at the next one. You have some very nice shots here. Funny, I prefer to do Wedding Videos than the still work. But I like to include stills in the video.

Not bad, Jeff! I find that when I'm doing a wedding, I have to down a couple of hard ones half way through. Of course my wife never likes this. Aren't shooting weddings fun?
