Looks cool, but I wonder if this was introduced 4-6 years ago, would Photoshop still be at the top?

I didnt get too much into what this program does, but to me it seemed less of an actual Photomanipulation software, but more of something that just works to help pictures look there best before you start compressing it to other formats like a jpeg. I could be wrong, i just didnt really look at the program. Plus you would have to back farther than 4-6 years i think Adobe was on version 4 or 5 by then

this is a fantastic application that i can really see filling a big need...

ever work with raw files on a pc, its slow, not optimized at all, aperture really is blazingly fast, could see coming off a shoot load it into my laptop and see what i need to give the editors...see what looks good, make nondestructive changes

kudos to apple...

Its functionality does seem a bit hazy. But, without having actually seen Aperture, it seems more kindred to applications such as Capture One and Bibble than to Photoshop.
