BMD Intensity Shuttle USB3 with MacbookAir

I'm planning to connect 2 cameras to my Macbook Air for streaming with wirecast, one camera with SDI out with the BMD ultrastudio minirecorder to the thunderbolt port and the other (HDMI out) to one of the USB3 ports of the Mac using the BMD Intensity Shuttle adapter ... does anyone have experience connecting the shuttle to the USB3 port of the Macbook Air ?? ... or maybe recommend some certified alternative ?

Regards

DO NOT use the Intensity Shuttle. The drivers are the buggiest drivers I've ever encountered.

Instead, use a Epiphan AVio HD/4K. It just uses UVC protocol so even Skype can use the source as a camera.

I'll second Jack's sentiment about Blackmagic Shuttle USB3 and drivers. I'm also a Wirecast user.
It seems their Thunderbolt devices are a bit more stable using the same drivers. I have no problem using two MiniRecorders at the same time but would never use their USB3 devices.
Epiphan is a good choice. Magewell and Inogeni are as well. They all make driverless HDMI (or SDI) to USB3 devices. In short. If you're using USB3 it's best to use any of the driverless devices on the market.
