Using screengrabs of IMDB? at DVinfo.net

Has anyone used a screengrab from the Internet Movie Database in one of their projects? I'd like to do this but the process of seeking permission seems somewhat opaque.

Hi Greg,

My guess is IMDB operates under the Fair Use doctrine to avoid copyright infringment issues. If you're also operating a site specifically for reviews (or other fair use methods), then perhaps the sun will shine on you - otherwise, it's unlikely you'll ever get help from another biz obtaining copyrighted material.
