Any experience with 17th Street Photo?

I was recently browsing around for the Canon GL2 pricing and I noticed that www.17.photo.com offers it for a pretty good deal.

My question is, has anyone had an experiences with them or heard anything about them? I read the reviews on this merchant from Price Grabber and there are lots of positive feedback from this company.

It's also part of the BBB Reliability Program.

Any thoughts?

I know the saying of, "if it sounds too good to be true..." but it seems reliable?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't know them, but there are a large number of companies
out there with cheap prices but then don't include everything in
the original package or get you to buy all sort of over-prices
accessoiries with your camera.

Please consider buying from our sponsors, they are among the
best in the business (hand picked by Chris) with good prices and
excellent support. You will also help support this forum.

Thank you for your consideration.

Thanks for posting those links guys.

Mike, I checked out their website. The prices on most of their stuff if OK, but really not much different from that of our forum sponsors.

If you are going to take the chance spending that much money and buying online, do yourself a favour and buy from a real, reputable place. Even a couple hundred dollars difference might be worth it to you, if it saves you the hassle some of our members have gone through dealing with these "dealers".

Thanks to everyone for the input.

Yes it would make more sense to go that extra mile with a reputable and slightly higher priced dealer.

Thanks again!
