Sales Tax on TV Adertising?

Greetings, this is my first post and I'm a long time follower of the forum.

I'm developing a tv program and plan to sell ads to sponsors.

I'm located in NYC and wanted to know if anyone had any insight on advertising and sales tax in regards to selling ads.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am not an accountant, you should seek one.


Typically however, No. There is not. I think Florida might though, and myb another state or two. (Or they are looking into taxing it)

Thanks David, I've heard of a couple of places looking into taxing ads too.
