Does Billing Approach Change for National Ads?
I run a smaller production company, but work with clients on a national level. We produce creative from start to finish. I have recently come into situations where extra potential is recognized with existing content and there is a desire to expand it from an online release to a more official broadcast ad campaign. How would you handle billing for a situation like that? Would you bill strictly according to time involved? Or is there room to take a 'royalty' approach like photographers or musicians do when their content is put in front of a wider audience?
