Kanye West Stronger Video

Hi Guys.

Whilst watching music videos for inspiration i noticed something that i really liked in the Kanye West Stronger music video.

I know i'm going to explain this very poorly but ....When the motor bikes drive past the tail lights stream off and are constantly viable where they have moved across the shoot. Is this and filming technique or has this been done in post?

It looks to me like it was done in post, but I have no idea how. I do like the video and song though.

Oh man, Akira was the coolest movie! I loved it.

My guess is to try the tutorial on VCP (http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials.html?id=34). That's as best I can come up with

ghosting tail lights

My opinion is that they were were added in post, I think after effects could do it. if it was shudder speed or somthing like that it would effect the whole frame
