Magic Bullet on trailer...

Hi all

I used Magic Bullet to give this a film look. Took our time lighting the scenes and all shot on a JVC GY-DV500. Only a rough trailer for now as we're still shooting.

It's called SHOOT THE DJ

Is that Tony Hadley of Spandua Ballet in the last shot?

Enjoyed it!

Yes it was.

Cool stuff.

Obviously, you worked very hard on trying for that "film look" on your film, but I just don't know about the trailer itself. A few shots looked a bit too static and flat to me for a trailer. I know it's a rough cut, but you only have a short time to grab an audiences attention and make them want to see your film.
Also, I couldn't hear most of what was being said. The voices were getting drowned out by the music.
Good audio is as important as good picture to create that "film look", yet most people don't give it as much attention. Just a few things that stood out to me.
Wish you well on your film project.
