2 Cameras Filming Side by Side

Has anyone tried filming with two cameras side by side to get better picture quality with a super wide frame? I saw a short shot like this that looked amazing...only problem was it was not "fine tuned" (you caould see the split in certain shots).

Thanks,

Grant

Not quite what you're talking about, but "300" used a very interesting technique detailed here (http://digitalcontentproducer.com/mi...deo_step_step/) rolling film on three cameras, using a wide, a medium, and a macro lens.

It's an idea that's been around a while...

I used two XL2 with film lens for this piece that match seemlessly.

Wow, David--that looks very nice! I would have never known the technique used if you hadn't pointed it out. Thanks.

Like it says under the video, it is best viewed using Firefox. IE won't play it.
