Chrosziel Dv Studio Rig

Can anyone tell me about the Chrosziel Dv Studio Rig follow focus system?

1. Does it adapt it-self to Nikon lens, and what accessories are reccomended for it?

I believe you must purchase a separate adapter for each lens type. For example, you need a different rod system for the XL1s as you would the DVX100 or the PD 170. When you look to buy the matte box sysstem, whoever sells it usually has pricings and parts lists describing which camera it applies to.

Steve,

Nikons do not have proper gears to interface with follow focus units. They have to be retro-fitted with a cine-style gear.

Karl Horn of Cinetech provides this service. The lenses have to be sent to him. Contact Cinetech at 626-969-6050 for more information.
