Cool paper. In the conclusions section:
From BBC paper: "Film motion (judder): operate the camera in progressive scan mode at the desired frame rate (25 fps for television). The shutter should be about 50% to mimic the 180 degrees of the normal film camera. The resulting performance gives motion judder that closely resembles that of film, but see below as well." Does that simply mean that the shutter speed is 1/50 second or 1/(2 * fps) ? |
