Has anyone seen a short film called "Ferment?

How in the heck was that made?

This is some info that I dug up on the film:

In Ferment Tim Macmillan documented the daily life of his friends using the technique we've all seen in The Matrix and Gap ads - you know the one where people jump up in the air, freeze, and the camera angle spins around them. Of the recent pervasiveness, some might say overuse, of the technique, MacMillan noted at a press conference that "Some people have claimed to be the inventors of this technique, but actually I invented it (some 20 years ago he told GetHiroshima). The difference is that they use computers and I don't."

Paul,

I saw it on a local movie channel here in Tokyo. It is similar to the stop action style made famous by the Matrix...but it's impressive because it just keeps going and going and going. The whole film looks like someone has held the shutter down on a still camera from a car traveling in a straight line...down the street, over rivers, through walls, through iron fences...then pieced all the shots together into a movie. Really fascinating to watch.
