Colorizing

Hey folks,
I want to drop my DV footage to black and white and colorize it as if it were an old film that was shot in BW... anyone have any software/plugin recommendations?

Most/all editing software can do this.

I prefer Sony Vegas for color correction, although it's a little tricky.

2- What programs do you have? Which do you prefer?

I have vegas and after effects. Im not talking about color correction however. I want to render all color out, and then Recolorize it.

I'm interested in this as well. I know that I can do this effect in Photoshop, but that's only one frame. I'm thinking old Ted Turner used some special software.
