Green Tint in Days of Being Wild, other WKW films

Here are some screenshots I found online from Days of Being Wild directed by Wong Kar Wai.

I do not have the DVDs on my person, so I cannot post more detailed shots, but his films seem to often contain these types of color tints(is this the correct word?).

I am not sure, but it looks as though the DP is using colored lights on the set itself, because in some scenes in Fallen Angels, one half of the room has green florescent light bulbs, and the other half orange.

I have searched online and they mention that the cinematographer Chris Doyle uses filters.
