G Film Effects + HDV = What do you think?

Shot a short film 12 months ago on a Z1U - ultra low budget, not enough light, and recorded to tape. Used G Film Effects to bring up the saturation and to reduce the effects of severe HDV compression (low light noise THEN compressed into HDV). The director wanted the colours to be flamboyant.

Too dark? Too much blurring? Bad camera angles? Any suggestions on how to better use G Film Effects?

The stills looked great, small movie will be better to judge, the only thing I personally don't like it's the over saturated look. (Too much)
