Widescreen Adapter

Does anyone think that this will be good for the gl2 is delivering a better widescreen image?

Also, why is this cheaper than the other really expensive wide angle lens?

The item you are referencing is a wide angle adapter--it is not a widescreen lens.

You get what you pay for when it comes to wide angle adapters for your video camera.

I would avoid no name brands.

If you want true widescreen for you GL-1, look around a for a used anamorphic 16:9 squeeze lens from Century Optics.

You get a true widescreen image *and* a wider angle of view at the same time.
