How do I get close to a 24p look??

I have a Sony vx1000 and i want to know if there is a way i can get something close to a 24p look by adjusting settings accordinly? I know that camera doesn't have them but If anyone out there can help me out or just give some input it would be very helpful thanks!!

On camera settings not in post!! I want it to look as natural as possible

Try setting the shutter speed to 1/30 second. This should give you more "film like" motion, but you will lose some resolution because it's accomplished by doubling the video fields. Give it a try and see if you like it.

I think software would actually give better results though. Check out DVFilm maker, it runs on Mac and PC's and they have a free trial version.

Word, as I recall it with DVFilmmaker, is to shoot at 1/60th.
