Hi from KC
 

Hi, my name's Paul and I'm from Kansas City. I'm 21 and go to school at UMKC for civil engineering. I'm pretty amature when it comes to filming. I have a DVX, but I really prefer editing. I've been using Final Cut for a little over a year. From what I've seen you guys are very knowledgable about DV and I find this place to be an excellent source to get any of questions answered. I would live to move out to LA and try to find some sort of assistant editing job in a year when I finish my degree. I dont know if there are any people here from KC but it would be nice to meet some of you.

I am new to video, but am learning more every day. I am 15 min. from UMKC. I work at JCCC as a stagehand in Carlsen Center.

It would be cool to have a meeting sometime with all the film guys and gals in the area. I'm not sure what it would look like, but it might be worth a try to put something together if there were enough people.

I am from Peculiar MO. just about 25 minutes south of downtown KC. I just found this forum and would like to start networking with local people. We have been doing video production for about 2.5 years now.
