Hello Hello

Hi everyone!

My account here at DVinfo has been around for a while, but I decided I wanted to start using it. Figured that introducing myself was a good place to start.

I'm a 21-year-old Bible college student who has a strong love for various forms of media and art. I love filmography, but my bigger passion has always been music; still, I'm excited about getting into (or least being able to do) all aspects of filmmaking (camera work, directing, editing, writing, etc.). I'm pretty much that guy you all know; that guy who has a knack for creating things but not a cent to his name due to student loans, so please forgive my ongoing hunt for the least expensive, viable, options.

Admittedly, my interests are less in camera technology than in filmmaking in a broader sense, but I like to know everything I can about as many things as possible.

I'll do my best to research things before asking questions here, but thanks in advance for indulging my (sometimes) odd questions.

Now that I'm out of college for the summer, I have a bit of time on my hands. I'll be applying a bit of this to film, but I would like to throw my name out there to anyone looking for an original soundtrack for a film. I'm always working on expanding my musical abilities, but most of my work comes out as what I'll call "reduced symphonic." The closest comparison I have is some of the Japanese composers that work with top-level video game companies.

Have a great day, all! Thanks for opening your community to a youngin like me!

Kenny

Dear Kenneth,

Welcome aboard!

Many filmmakers need a composer for their films.
