Howdy from Utah

I sure have been impressed with this "community" and the great idea exchange that takes place here! Within the past year I have become serious with wildlife videography and have purchased an XL1s with a 100-400 zoom. I have collected some great video lately and am anxious to market stock video or do shooting for other projects and would appreciate any tips on either. Thanks in advance--it's great to be on "board".

Hey Phil, welcome to the forum.
I'm a new XL1s owner myself and I love it.
Wildlife photography is a great way to get your feet wet with the videography especially with the XL1s.
Can you post a few of your clips or pictires?
I'm sure everyone would like to see them.
Good luck and I'll check you out aroud the forum.
B.

Hey Phil,

I'm down in Tooele. Utah is a great place to be for shooting outdoor and wildlife video. As far as marketing stock footage, there are several companies in Salt Lake that sell stock footage, and they may be able to offer you tips. You might talk to Jon Bushey at Rapid, LLC and see what they do to market their stuff.

Welcome aboard...

Rick
