Introduction
 

I just thought I would say hi. My name is Jeremy Malheim. I am pretty new to motion photography, with most of my experience coming from stills. I just happened to stumble upon this site as I was surfing around and am very impressed. I am trying to decide on my first DV camcorder, mostly to shoot family events and such, with a possibility of making some short films.

Enough about me. I am off to do more research on a camera! If anyone wants to say hi or make a few recommendations, feel free. Otherwise I will see you around the boards!

Welcome Jeremy! I've been to Fargo many times. I used to stay at that little Motel 6 on University? Or near there. (I recall a K-mart across the street.) The Red River is sure small down there, compared with The Red up in Winnipeg. I used to buy my pipe tobacco from a place in Moorhead/Fargo called, Famous Products---a family business that shut down about 15 years ago. So you want to buy a cam? Post away on the forums!
