Need a good rental house in Kansas City, KS

I'm looking to do a shoot in Kansas City, KS so I need to rent a DVX100/mics/lights in that town.

Can anyone in that area recommend a good rental house in that area?

Once you look at my location... you'll wonder why I ask...

I'm in Springfield, MO sort of... been stuck in California doing production work... which could be a good or bad thing...

Plus I've only lived there a year before I came back.. so where are you located...

Hi Mark,

Can't vouch for them, as I've never needed to rent any equipment.

I have heard of them for many years. So check them out.

Buffalo, NY -just getting started

Hello Everyone,

Using a panasonic AG-HVX200, with a FS-100 HD.

jumping into the professional video arena with only knowledge of premiere and no real camera experience.

Still trying to work out some compatability issues with my equipment.

Nice to see that there are resources like this forum out there.

Dallas/Ft Worth here

Hey guys.
I am new to the board, and fairly new to DFW.
I worked in that wonderfull party and event area for a little bit, and have now gone solo.

I have a JVC HD110u I just bought a month ago, and I am looking for some work, and to meet some more people in the area.

I can and will rent my setup out, and would like to get into some more shoots.

feel free to call me anytime, I would like to learn more about this camera, I came from a Sony Z1U and find this camera to be a bit confusing attimes.

Vermont

Hey everyone,

I just joined recently. So far, I'm finding that this website is very helpful and informative.

My name is Adam Barker and I am from the southwestern Vermont area. I mainly do weddings and corporate videos. I shoot using a Sony HDR-HC1 HDV Camcorder, and I edit on an Apple iMac G5 using Final Cut Express HD version 3.5 and iDVD. I don't have a website yet, but I'm currently looking into possibly getting one (so far it has been word-of-mouth when getting clients).

Looking forward to chatting with everybody here.

Adam

Hello from California

I recently purchased a Canon XL1s from E-Bay and have been a lurker here for awhile. I am mainly just a hobbiest and do recordings of the kids at their high school football games for DVD formats, and alot of playing around. I love the quality and capabilities of this camera so far. Just wanted to say "Hello" to you all and hope I may be able to contribute a bit since I have been using various digital equipment for years.

Hi Scott, welcome aboard DV Info Net, good to have you with us!

Enjoy your purchase. It is a great SD camera, I've owned it myself and loved
the look it gave me.

Good luck!

'Nother Californian

Hi all- Thought I'd finally buy a video camera- wanted one for years. Settled on the Canon XHA1 and hopefully it'll arrive soon. I've decided to take the editing side of this hobby seriously- perhaps someday I can make some money editing as opposed (or in addition) to doing the stills and sound work that put food on the table now. So... looking into learning the Avid system. It's a tough call between Avid and FCP but most of my connections are in the broadcast (Network) and that's why I'm leaning toward Avid. Was gonna take the Symphony 101 course- any thoughts on that?
