Just arrived in London

I have just arrived in London and am looking for contacts or advice on picking up TV, Film work. I would be interested ideally in Camera Assistant roles but to wet my feet would really take any work that might be on the go.

If any Londoners who might want to pass on some advice or pointers I'd be greatly appreciative.
