New Wedding Videographer
 

Hi everyone,

My wife is a part-time wedding photographer here on Long Island, and I'm gearing up to work alongside her as a wedding videographer.

I've been running a multimedia production studio for 8 years now -- audio production and recording, 3D design and animation, web site design, project-level CD mastering, etc. It'll be fun to do some video, too. (It's funny to see the parallels between the audio and video worlds, but that's a whole other topic...)

Anyways, we've shot 3 weddings together so far and have gotten a nice response from the couples. All three were shot with pretty low-end and outdated gear, so now I'm looking to upgrade. Researching professional equipment to tackle future gigs brought me to this board.

Thanks to everyone's helpful information and posts, researching equipment on this board has been very easy. I'll certainly try to return the favor.
