I found this extremely enlightening and friendly forum a long time ago and should of course have joined before.

I'm a software developer. Tinkering with video has been a fairly serious hobby for twenty years.

As usual, there is always a lot more to learn.

I will contribute to the discussions whenever I can of course, which may not be often considering the huge experience other people have.

Video gear: Canon XHA1, HV20 and some accessories.
