Hello from Montreal!

Hi everyone,

I've been filming for about 10 years now, the last 3 have been quite interesting now that I have been integrating CGI into movies. Almost nothing beats taking your imagination and putting those worlds into a movie to share with others. Filming a moment in time that will never come again for all to experience, making it and the people in it immortal.

Ever since I was a kid, I would make movies. Well, back then video wasn't available to the average kid, so we used cassette recorders and made audio "movies". My brother had a 16mm camera for class, and I was always the first to offer my services either acting or filming when needed.

Now, after slaving for someone else and making them rich & me unhappy. I took the plunge and walked away from ever working at a mundane job for someone else. And did what I love, it was no piece of cake that's for sure. And I had some pretty rough years. But I have never been happier, doing what I love and able to support my family. There is no greater reward than to see the faces of those who watch your creations with smiles and expressions of wonder.

Today is a great time to be a part of this field as technology is allowing so many who would not be able to show their ideas, skills, and tell their stories.
Now we have something other than the poor films coming out of hollywood lately to chose from. And with the internet, and even easier way for delivery to the masses. And for us all to be here to discuss, help, and inspire others to build their creations, to get out there and film, to learn from the experienced & even the new can teach us things we never thought of. So much on my mind about this, not enough time to blabber it all out. I am sure you all feel the same way as I do.

And I am glad to be here, thanks for allowing me to join this great group. I have been a lurker for far too long!
