New in Texas

Hi!

I am definitely a new guy in video (have some experience in audio). From a little town named Markham, in the great state of Texas. Planning a couple of historical documentaries. I am looking to buy my equipment in the next week or so; in fact, any suggestions would be great! See my thread here:

Ah, the Texas coast! I lived in near Corpus for a couple of years and try to get back down for a vacation every so often. Glad you're here. My recommendation: capture great audio and have a backup recorder going. Use lighting to make your shot pop and you can't go wrong.
