Chicago Trade Show 2013?
 

Any here know if there's any video trade show scheduled for 2013 in the Midwest or near Chicago where Pana or other companies might be exhibiting?

A NYC or LV trip is not possible for me at this time.

There was a show at Navy Pier that was alright. When the economy got f@"*ked it sort of went away. I think it was called DV Expo(?)

A show in Chicago would be nice. Great way to try before you buy kind of thing.

The event at the Navy Pier was HD Expo. I did a few of those and they were enjoyable; at any rate they were a great excuse to visit a wonderful city. Nowadays it's called Createasphere but they mostly stay in Burbank.

It would be great to have a NAB like show on a smaller scale due to cost here in the Windy city. There is no place around that can offer those in the midwest a place to go and put hands on before spending the cash. Many many years ago when I did still work, ther was a place in downtown (still there but mush much smaller scale) who got almost all of my money because I could go in and play and decide then spend. There are still a couple of places like that for still stuff and they carry a small line of video stuff but a show would be great. See it all, try it all, BUY IT ALL! Well not really but it sure would be nice.
Oh well, gotta do with what we have.

Thanks for all the replys, guys. I'm not sprised no 1 wants to come to Chicago. Very business unfriendly town and murders thru the roof. Shows always seem to be NY, CA and NV. I'd even settle for Nashville, but the only show that goes there is Summer NAMM.
