Hello from the Great Plains at DVinfo.net

I've been skulking around these posts for awhile and finally decided to join in on the fun. What a great board Chris, and it seems that everybody is so damned friendly!!

Just a quick introduction...I've been shooting TV news for the last twelve years here in South Dakota and have been lucky to call it my career. Thanks to a supporting wife, I continue to be a full time photographer for the CBS affiliate in Sioux Falls. Yeah....Gateway country. I enjoy it here, but I also realize that lugging my Beta SX around all day is a real back breaker. After much consideration, I decided to start a production company and plunged into DV. I bought a Pd150, and I'm never looking back!!!

When I'm not on the streets covering the news of the day, I'm out on the prowl looking for my next documentary.

I'm looking foward to all the great discussions here, and want to thank all in advance for the knowledge I will 'steal' from you.
