Hi there, from the UK, Kent
I thought I would do a quick introduction while im here.
As you can guess, my name is Richard, Ive just finished my film degree and am in the process of getting a portfollio of work. So far im doing the prep for an actor showreel and a documentry which will be released after summer. My camera gear is growing since leaving university, the main interesting bits include a Canon XL1. My tripod isnt all that special though. Although its very smooth. Its a 501 Manfrotto head on 055ssb legs. Yeah, a video head on a photo set of legs. I want to take the legs off, fit a ball joint?? to a better set of legs but I cant figure out how to get the 501 head off the 055 legs. Maybe someone can help. Anyway, I live in the UK down in the south east in Kent. I made up a quick myspace page for contacts so feel free to stop by and say hi. www.myspace.com/rjgfilm I will put my graduation film up as soon as I find out how to take it from DVD and upload to youtube. Anyway, hopefully people here will be able to add some insight to a new camera operator. Thanks for reading. |
