Hello from Orange County

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Joe Sonnenburg from Orange County, California. I just graduated college and am now trying to find a job in Sports Television. I have been browsing the boards almost daily for the past 6-8 months (ok, I'm an addict). I'll look forward to posting now and soaking in more DV information. Thanks everyone.

Welcome Joe and Anthony--

Congratulations Joe on your graduation! Which school did you go to?

I'm a 2001 grad of Chapman Univ. and recent transplant to El Paso, Texas.

These forums are a great place for learning pretty much darned anyting concerned with video (and then some!).

Best,

I just graduated from Vanguard University (a small private college in Costa Mesa). I helped start an internet sports show with a couple other students. If you want to check it out it is www.vanguardstudios.org/vusn.

It is funny because I ended up teaching some of my professors things that I learned from reading posts on this board. Gotta love it.

Always learning,

Joe

That's the nature of our business, always something new around the corner. You certainly don't have to buy the newest, coolest gear around, but at least be aware that they're there and available.

Costa Mesa is a neat neighborhood (with high priced housing, but where in SoCal where it isn't?). A few friends live in the vicinity of South Coast Plaza (boy, talk about high priced!).
