A Mythbusters HDR-HC3 in trouble! at DVinfo.net

Last week on Mythbusters, they were testing with exploding water heaters. Well, an HC3 was right in the line of fire during one run...

Assuming there is no footage from that angle, what would you say was the fate of that HC3? One huge HDV dropout? Auto shut-off? Unserviceable damage?

Warrenty Void! Was a good episode. I suppose you could always write and ask short of that I would assume the lens blew or something with that much force.
