Imran, I checked out your homepage- pretty cool little clip you got on there. How'd you do it- don't tell me outputting from Premiere as FLM files. UGH I tried doing that recently to work some extensive filters on the video but the files were too large to deal with. It just took sooooooo long!

Haha, glad you liked it. It was part of a larger short film, but I didn't like where it was going so abandoned it. And rather than waste some good footage, I reworked it into a music vignette for a local band I really like.

The footage is actually crunched through a tool called Flix Pro. Really neat little app that encodes video into Flash files, so you can show video without any third-party components (other than Flash, of course). And one of the settings in this nice little app (for PC's only I think) is the ability to vectorize your video to get the cartoony look.

You can get more or less detailed than what I did - it all depends on how much time you want to spend on it. I think I only adjusted default settings a little bit to liking.

Oh, and the URL for the application is:

Hey Imran. I just looked at that website and liked the look of the program, so I bought it! I look forward to playing with it! Thanks for pointing it out.
