Avery Design Pro Software

Hey, people. I have this Avery Design Pro software for making CD labels and such, and I got some business card paper, with the perforations, to make sheets of cards with. I can't figure out how to cover a whole sheet with them when printing, though. The help files are no help, either. Anyone know how to make one template and use it to create a whole sheet's worth of cards?

First off, Avery is only ok, but it will work. I can't tell you for sure how to do what you want, due to different versions, but I believe that it would be in the print set up.

Second, those perforated cards are yesterdays garbage. There is a newer product that you peel the cards off of the backing. They look great, and don't have the cheapy rough edges. It will cost a couple bucks more, but the results are worth it.

For what it's worth, I use Quark Xpress for doing Business cards, and Photoshop for CD labels. I have yet to find any of those labels that work very well though. Frustrating, ain't it?

Hey man, if I'm judged by the quality of my business cards, then the world is populated by more retards than I thought.

Josh,

You will be judged by the quality of your cards, period.

Well, I ain't buyin' Quark. Fancier cards I can deal with.

K. Forman August 14th, 2003 05:32 AM

Josh- I wasn't suggesting you buy Quark, I was just letting you know other software can sometimes do the job. The only reason I have Quark, is because I also do page layout... sometimes.

However, the cards you buy do make an impression.
